First, the bad news: Cyndi Lauper canceled her 2010 Boogie Ball appearance at the Ameristar Casino due to illness. Sadface. (A new performer will be announced today.)

But now here's some good news: I kept forgetting to note that indie-electro innovators Xiu Xiu and indie-folk stalwarts Tune-Yards will be performing at the Lemp Neighborhood Arts Center on Tuesday, March 30. Tickets for that will be available this month.

Aside from that, the Firebird booked ethereal rockers Mahjongg on Sunday, February 28, and the Billiken Club landed Seattle's barnstorming rootsy act the Cave Singers for a March 23 show.
