[Update, Monday, 6:30 p.m.: I'm told that visitation for all family and friends will be at Laughlin Funeral Home in Troy, Illinois, on Tuesday, December 22, from 5-9 p.m., funeral on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the same place.]
Sad news: Matty Kleemann, guitarist/vocalist for synthrockers Nothing Still, has apparently passed away. No further details are available yet, but the band's Facebook and MySpace page are filling up with tributes to the musician. I have an email into the band's manager for comment. Nothing Still's last release is I've Got A Feeling I've Slept Here Before and they were due to play for troops at Thule Air Force Base in Greenland on New Year's Eve. Here's the band opening Ludo's Christmas show in 2007 at the Pageant. Kleemann is on the far left.
