Do you have a cool half-million laying around, just burning a hole in your pocket? Then might we suggest perusing this eBay auction, where the recording console used to record Michael Jackson's landmark album, Thriller, is up for sale. The Harrison 4032 console was at Westlake Studios in California when Jackson used it, and is currently at CMI Studios.
The console is so important, it even has its own website, www.thrillerboard.org, containing notarized letters of authenticity and other testimonials.
