Bob Dylan To Release a Christmas Album. This Is Not a Joke.

(Via Aimee, via the NY Times, whose headline, "Sleigh, Lady, Sleigh," wins for the day) Bob Dylan's releasing a Christmas album on October 13 called Christmas in the Heart. According to Bob's website, the tracklisting will include songs such as Here Comes Santa Claus," "Winter Wonderland" and "Little Drummer Boy." The coolest part? It's for charity, the website also says:
All of the artist's U.S. royalties from sales of these recordings will be donated to Feeding America, guaranteeing that more than four million meals will be provided to more than 1.4 million people in need in this country during this year's holiday season. Bob Dylan is also donating all of his future U.S. royalties from this album to Feeding America in perpetuity.
So no Dylan snark from me this time.
