Tomorrow! Sybris at Cicero's

Tomorrow night at Cicero's, sneaking onto a local bill, is the Chicago quartet Sybris. The band and its 2008 release Into the Trees (Absolutely Kosher) nods to the halcyon days of '90s indie-rock, when a combination of askew fuzz-chords, primitive tempos and warbling female vocals dominated the genre. Fans of Velocity Girl, Land of Talk and early Death Cab for Cutie should like.
