Homespun: The 75s, Stereo EP and Humanoids "Year of the Snake" 7"

In this week's paper, Christian Schaeffer reviewed the Humanoids' "Year of the Snake" seven-inch and the 75s' EP, Stereo. He had this to say about the latter's release:

The 75s' latest offering is likewise short and sweet -- the three-song Stereo is deemed an EP but plays more like a strong single with two so-so b-sides. "Stereo" is the lead cut here, with singer/guitarist Laurel Mydock's affectless vocals recalling the pop naiveté of K Records' mid-'90s roster.
Read the rest here. Neither of us has one of those fancy LP-USB turntables, so an MP3 from the 75s' release will have to do. (Although if any Humanoids reading this want to send me an MP3 to post, email is right here!) The 75s will be celebrating the release of Stereo with a show at 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, at Lemmons.
