Local Label Collective Records: Alive and Kicking

Local label Collective Records has been rather quiet in the recent past, but on Wednesday sent out a MySpace bulletin announcing its return from the dead. This includes posting some new pictures and a new/old song from sludgy post-rockers In Medias Res. The eclectic label also promises some exciting things in 2009 (which I'll write more on once I find out what they are!). Collective Records alums and current artists include indie dreamers Foundry Field Recordings, post-punk throttlers Bald Eagle, post-rock experimentalists the Conformists and Warhammer 48K, and electro-punks Femme Fatality, along with now-defunct hardcore band Step On It! and punks Corbeta Corbata.
