Sigur Ros is streaming the entire film Heima, a companion piece to the LP Hvarf/Heim, on YouTube. See below.
Their Pageant show in early 2006 was probably one of the most affecting shows I've ever seen. The only U.S. date in the near future is at Bonnaroo in June.
And the music? Well, I just wrote this to someone in an email:
"their music somehow lightens your heart, makes you feel freer. i really feel like my life is small and insignificant compared to this music; i don't mean that in any self-esteem sense, but just, i don't know. the scope and beauty of their music is so awe-inspiring, it's like watching the moon through a telescope."
The song at about 68 minutes completely makes me cry. I suggest watching the beautiful entire film, though.
