Jose Gonzalez at Graham Chapel, Smog's Bill Callahan/Shearwater's Jonathan Meiburg at the Duck Room

Well, isn't this cool: Swedish troubadour Jose Gonzalez is doing a show March 19 at Graham Chapel, on the campus of Washington University. When is the last time that venue has hosted a rock-oriented show? Anyone know? (And R.E.M. in 1984 and U2 in 1981 doesn't count.)

Also, Smog's Bill Callahan -- with Shearwater's Jonathan Meiburg as the opener -- is playing the Duck Room on leap day, February 29.
