A to Z on Vacation

A to Z is taking the week off from work this week. I'll be running around St. Louis for a few days seeing a few shows here and there (oh, and interviewing Chuck Klosterman), but then I'll be off to Cleveland to visit the fam for a few days and consume as much Dunkin' Donuts coffee as I can (and to, of course, check out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's exhibit on R.E.M. and hopefully see Radio Birdman too!).

Fear not, though: Through the magic of technology, I have a lot of blog goodies all set to post in my absence. I will be posting a review of the Police show on Monday night, but we'll also have audio, new concert announcements, outtakes from our Berlin Whale feature and other goodies.

How was the Team Tomato show? After moving and packing all day, I was too exhausted and gross to go. Who went? Did Extreme show up? They certainly graced our blog entry quite well. How was the band? The conversation in the blog comments spurred a bunch of ideas in my head for blog posts -- so when I return, stay tuned for some talk and intelligent discourse.
