Spin Around, Again!

Whoever guesses the early 1990s alt-rock song I'm referencing in the title earns my undying respect.

Between the morning thunderstorm (I started thinking I was in the "November Rain" video), Faint dance party I conducted at my apartment this morning (HAVE YOU BOUGHT YOUR TICKETS YET FOR ITS MARCH 15 SHOW AT THE PAGEANT? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!) and smudged eye make-up I'm still wearing from last night's Edward Scissorhands performance at the Fox Theatre (review tomorrow), one would think I'd be in uber-goth, sad mode today.

But you'd be wrong. I'm feeling fabulous. And I trust this good mood will carry over to tonight, as I'll be present for our DJ Spin-off, to pick one person to go to the Ultra Music Fest on behalf of St. Louis. Festivities start at 9 p.m. at Atomic Cowboy; the line-up is as follows:

9:00 - 9:30 SlantE 9:45 - 10:15 Foster 10: 30 - 11:00 GXK 11:15 - 11: 45 Scotty Mac

Come on out and support! Drink specials galore, cover is only $5.

Then after, come out to Mangia for Riddle of Steel, who are playing a triumphant homecoming show after conquering Europe (I assume; I haven't talked to the band yet). Stonehenge!
