Soul legends the Isley Brothers will perform at the Fox Theatre (527 North Grand Boulevard) on Friday, April 20. Check this collection of Isley Brothers videos starring Ronald Isley's pimp-tastic alter ego, Mr. Biggs — "Busted" is the best of the bunch, as it features Mr. Biggs wearing a Boston Celtics jersey and a white fur coat. At the same time.

The Pageant (6161 Delmar Boulevard) announced a handful of shows: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah will have all the bloggers in a tizzy on Wednesday, May 2. Irish heartthrob Damien Rice will bring his endearing, enduring sadness to town on Friday, May 11. Folk favorite Patty Griffin will be playing songs from her new album, Children Running Through, on Friday, March 30.

Seattle's the Long Winters will play at Blueberry Hill's Duck Room (6504 Delmar Boulevard) on Saturday, April 7 along with recent Merge Records signing the Broken West. Also coming to the Duck Room on Thursday, April 26 are rockabilly-swamp rock kings (and queen) Southern Culture on the Skids.
