Cheers Restaurant & Lounge (1 Beckett Plaza, Valley Park), the beloved neighborhood bar and grill in Valley Park, will close after service this Wednesday, April 26, after 26 years of business. In a Facebook post, the owners attributed the closure to the sale of the strip mall where the bar is located.

Yet even as the bar hosted a farewell party with the musicians who have played for its loyal patrons over the years, there is a silver lining: many of the items inside Cheers are being auctioned off for sale the very next day.

Looking for neon bar signs? Got it. A Budweiser dalmatian? There's one of those, too. From decor to furniture to cooking equipment, the auction will include a variety of goods, including bar stools, a bar and back bar, commercial sink, advertising topped tables and more.

The auction will be held by Peper Auctions and Lucky Strike Estate Sales on site at Cheers. You can get a preview at 9 a.m., and the auction will begin at 10 a.m. All items will be sold as-is, and sales are final. If you buy heavy furniture, you must be able to transport it yourself.

Get more details here, and check out some of the auction items below. And in the mean time, maybe stop by Cheers for one last drink before last call Wednesday night.
