Even if you like vodka, you'd better really

. Made with "some of the most pristine water sources in the world," ELIT Stolichnaya Pristine Water Series will cost you $500 for a 1.5-ounce pour.
And here's where things could get even more expensive.
Sub Zero actually has two different offerings in the ELIT series: one made with water from the Himalayas, and the other from New Zealand's fame Blue Spring. If you're the kind of completist who needs to try both, you're looking at $1,000 for less booze than you'd find in many modern martinis.
Still, tasting this stuff could score you quite the bragging rights. Only 300 bottles of each type are available world-wide, and Sub Zero owner Derek Gamlin swears the quality of water really does make a huge difference.
"Vodka is nearly 60 percent water, so it has a huge impact on the taste and experience of the spirit," Gamlin, the proprietor of Gamlin Restaurant Group, says in a press release. "These vodkas undergo a slightly different distillation process that maintains more of the characteristics of the hearty winter wheat from Russia. When this is combined with these unique water sources the result it one of the cleanest, best-tasting vodkas we've tried."
And for those of who say a mere "clean" taste should not cost $500? Hey, there's always gin.
