You already know that there are plenty of reasons to love St. Louis. We have lots of free attractions, the best city park in the nation, and a kick-ass real estate market, just to name a few perks.

But you know what we also have? 1) Awesome ice cream, and 2) LouFest. And now those two favorite St. Louis things are combining into one fun contest.

Now through September 7, Shaw neighborhood favorite Ices Plain and Fancy (2256 S. 39th St., 314-601-3604) is giving you a chance to win a pair of LouFest 2016 VIP Weekend Passes. All you have to do is take a photo when you visit the ice cream shop, post it to Instagram and tag it as #NitroIceCreamSelfie. Admit it, you were planning to take a photo with your sweet treat anyway.

LouFest 2016 is scheduled for September 10 and 11 at Forest Park's Central Fields, and per the LouFest website, these two-day VIP passes are selling for $350 each. They come with a number of bonuses, including VIP stage viewing access, gourmet happy hours, unlimited access to the LouFest VIP Lounge and complimentary food and booze all day.

The Ices Plain and Fancy Instagram contest ends at noon on September 7, and the winner will be contacted through Instagram. In the meantime, you can figure out what you want to order at
