If you haven't been able to find Clyde, Vincent Van Doughnut's mobile truck, in order to score one of its delicious doughnuts, you can rest. VVD's storefront at 40 North Central Avenue in Clayton opened March 14.
The food truck first hit the streets in November 2013 and has had a growing presence in St. Louis' artisanal food scene. VVD struck a wholesale deal with Straub's, and is also available at select places, like co-owner Brian Marsden's brother's restaurant, Whitebox.
Vincent Van Doughnut is already selling out, though, so if you want one, you'd better get there early. You can follow on Facebook and Twitter for updates -- you can still catch Clyde cruising the streets. Vincent Van Doughnut is open Tuesday though Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
