Guerrilla Street Food (@guerillastreet; 314-529-1328) has been raising funds for a bricks-and-mortar location for its hit food truck since 2013. It's finally becoming a reality. Chef Brian Hardesty and his team have signed a lease for Guerrilla at 3024 South Grand Boulevard.

As first reported by St. Louis magazine, Guerrilla will take over the space formerly occupied by Sekisui, which is moving to Maplewood under a new name.

Favorite menu items from the Guerrilla truck will be available, but Hardesty and co-owner Joel Crespo will also be expanding their offerings. The food truck, meanwhile, will continue operating. Guerrilla Street Food debuted in St. Louis in 2011, and we named its "Flying Pig" the "Best Dish of 2012" and Guerrilla the "Best Food Truck." Expect Guerrilla's storefront to open on South Grand in April, if all goes according to plan.
