Just a year after he left Central Table Food Hall to helm Blood & Sand, chef Nick Martinkovic has left the members-only restaurant. Martinkovic also served as executive chef for its sister restaurant, Death in the Afternoon. Chef David Rosenfeld has taken over at both restaurants, owned by Adam Frager and T.J. Vytlacil.
Rosenfeld came to St. Louis from New York along with Martinkovic last year to open Central Table. Martinkovic tells Sauce his next job opportunity will probably take him out of St. Louis. He left the restaurants in November.
