Death in the Afternoon to Add Dinner Service, Tasting Room

Lunch restaurant Death in the Afternoon (808 Chestnut Street; 314-621-3236) has announced that it will be adding dinner service in 2015. The Citygarden restaurant, from the owners of members-only Blood & Sand, currently only offers lunch and brunch on the weekends.

As first reported by Feast, a limited dinner will be served upstairs in the Upper 90 Brewing Co. It'll actually be a super-small microbrewery with about a one-barrel capacity.

Upper 90 will offer about five beers at a time and a few of Death in the Afternoon's top menu items. The plan is to have it open by February or March at the latest, depending on permits. Currently, Death in the Afternoon's upstairs space hosts private events. Take a look here.
