Bobo Noodle House (278 North Skinker Boulevard, University City; 314-863-7373) is getting into the late-night game. The southeast Asian outpost of the Zoe Robinson empire will reopen Thursday nights from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. as a no-cover bar with drinks and dancing.

Bobo by Night has been going for about a month now, but manager Paul Goodloe says they've been kicking around the idea for quite some time.
"It just took a while for us to solidify and make the vision happen," he says. "We were always wanting to have liquor when we were open for regular hours, but we couldn't do it with the space. So we finally found a way to get the alcohol in the restaurant -- we have to rearrange our storage space extensively on that night."
Goodloe says Bobo definitely hopes the idea caters to the nearby Washington University students, but it's open to everybody else as well. There won't be any food beyond table snacks, but there will be affordable drinks, no cover and music. If Bobo by Night catches on, Goodloe says there's the option to expand to Friday and Saturday nights.
You can check out Bobo by Night this Thursday at 10 p.m.
