Bocci Bar (16 N. Central Avenue, Clayton; 314-932-1040) is set to reopen this weekend after winter "modifications." In addition to interior reconstruction, owner Frank Schmitz is revamping the concept, too.
As reported by George Mahe of St. Louis Magazine, Bocci Bar will now be a small-plates wine bar. Schmitz also owns nearby BARcelona, another small-plates restaurant, but he tells Mahe that they will be completely different. Multiple calls to the owner have not been returned, but we'll update as we learn more.
Bocci Bar opens back up on Saturday, April 5.
