Vito's in the Valley (138 Chesterfield Towne Center, Chesterfield; 636-536-3788) will re-open today after a water leak earlier this month. Firefighters arrived at the restaurant after 8 p.m. on January 6 when a fire-supression head between the roof and the ceiling burst and dumped 2,000 gallons of water into the dining room. Vito's was closed because of snow, so no one was there at the time of the accident.
The restaurant is opening two days ahead of schedule with a re-done dining room and specials to celebrate. Check out the new look after the jump.
"It literally feels the same as if you went home and your house burned down and you didn't know, and walked in and everything was gone," owner Gio La Fata told us after the leak. To celebrate Vito's resurrection, there will be happy hour all day today (Wednesday, January 22), ten perfect off all wine by the bottle and half-price appetizers.

Vito's will be open for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
