Ted Drewes Closes Temporarily After Electrical Fire



Ted Drewes Frozen Custard (6726 Chippewa Street; 314-481-2652) closed November 10 after a small electrical fire broke out after noon. The beloved dessert spot planned to open by 6 p.m. that night, but was not able. KSDK reports that the fire is suspected to have started in the roof.

Ted Drewes has been updating customers via its Facebook page; the plan is to open as usual at 11 a.m. today, November 11. We'll update you with a cause of the fire and any damage when we get it.
