We hope you're thirsty this weekend. Read on for ways to quench that drinking curiosity with a wine festival, wine walk, beer-lesque, and bloody mary bar. Besides that, plenty of other drinking and dining options await. Read on for our suggestions.

Friday (May 10):

Rhythm & Ribs @ St. Charles Community College Nosh on ribs, gourmet nachos and veggie burgers with cold beer to the soundtrack of a jazz ensemble, Smash Band and more. General admission costs $5 per person (tasting tickets sold separately), with beverage and food ticket packages available from $25 to $50. 6 p.m.

Food Truck Friday @ Tower Grove Park For the third year in a row, Food Truck Friday invades Tower Grove Park with eats from Guerilla Street Food, Hot Aztec, Sarah's Cake Stop and much more. Arrive early to avoid lines and come with a big appetite. Admission is free. 5 to 8 p.m.

Columbia Wine & Food Festival @ Columbia, Mo. If getting out of town sounds appealing this weekend, consider commuting just a couple of hours West for this fest. Highlights include a grand tasting on Friday, May 10, that features more than 400 wines and freshly prepared bites, cooking demonstrations and a chocolate tasting class on Saturday, May 11, complete with eight sampling stations. Beer-lesque: Tastings and Tassels @ Cicero's This event promises plenty of boobs and beers from Oregon's Decshutes Brewing Company. Standing room tickets cost $5 while seated tickets set you back $10. Call 314-862-0009 for more information. 9 p.m.

Saturday (May 11):

Pet Health & Wellness Fair @ Four Muddy Paws Get free samples from holistic food vendors, check out nutritional talks and more. Admission is free. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Mother's Day Tea @ Kitchen Conservatory This demonstation class includes the preparation of cinnamon-caramel scones, chocolate-cranberry muffins, mushroom-chive quiche, smoked chicken tea sandwiches with sun-dried tomato spread, almond shortbread, orange granita champagne cocktails and tea. $45 per person. Register online via the Kitchen Conservatory website. 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.


Hill Wine Walk @ participating restaurants on the Hill For $25, get a souvenir sampling cup, discounts from participating businesses, live entertainment, access to festival cabs and wine tastings from the likes of Modesto, Steve's Hot Dogs on the Hill and Charlie Gitto's. Signature Bloody Mary Bar @ The Ritz-Carlton Hand-crafted tomato juices, bitters, peppercorns, salts, hot sauces and garnishes make up the list of options for the menu of signature or create your own bloody mary cocktails. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

National Burger Month @ Prasino To celebrate National Burger Month this May, Prasino offers a healthier-option $11 turkey burger with blue cheese, caramelized onions, sauteed apples and spinach on a multigrain bun. From now through May 31.
