Last spring Farmhaus (3257 Ivanhoe Avenue; 314-647-3800) threw its first crawfish boil, and this Sunday, March 24, it's spicing things up with another one.
From noon to 6 p.m. the restaurant will serve a selection of Cajun eats, including boiled crawfish, andouille sausage and several other menu options the kitchen is currently playing around with. In addition to food, Farmhaus will be serving beer and a couple of special cocktails at the boil.
The event is cash-only with à la carte pricing so guests can eat as much or as little as they want.

Farmhaus General manager Eric Scholle says last year's crawfish boil was a big hit with customers, and it offers the restaurant a chance to enjoy a more casual approach.
"It's a lot more relaxed than a standard service here; it's free flow, and we want everyone else to have a really good time," Scholle says. "Last year we did it and it was super fun. Crawfish are in season right now, and the chef is really in touch with that and does a great job with it."
