In December Gut Check wrote an unrequited love letter to Pizza Hut Canada after hearing it had given away 110 bottles of a very rare perfume called Eau de Pizza Hut. The 'za chain described the scent as featuring "top notes of freshly baked, hand-tossed dough." But alas, Gut Check wasn't one of the lucky 110 fans sent a bottle.

Avast! All is not lost!

This week we learned via an official Pizza Hut press release that Eau de Pizza Hut is being gifted to a select group of its fans for the first time in the U.S. through a company Valentine's Day Twitter giveaway dubbed "Last Minute Lovers."

After giving pause to reread the promo name -- our deviant mind initially added an "A" between "Last" and "Minute" -- we discovered in the fine print that all one must do to receive a bottle of Eau de Pizza Hut perfume and a $20 Pizza Hut gift card is Tweet @PizzaHut including the hashtag #LastMinuteLovers begging for a chance to win, Pizza Hut's, um, package. The contest runs February 11 to February 13, with 24 winners chosen daily. The company promises all prizes will be delivered to winners by February 14.

If you're planning to spend Valentine's Day with a significant other this provides the opportunity to spray on some pizza perfume to get things cookin' and the dough to front a pizza delivery once things really get steamy.

And even if you're flying solo on Valentine's Day, winners of this contest can eat a pizza in bed and then take a bath in Eau de Pizza Hut -- truly a win-win either way in Gut Check's estimation.
