Whipt Cream (Edison Avenue & Chesterfield Business Parkway, Chesterfield; 636-532-0200) has closed. The west county cupcake shop vacated its property last Wedneday, but announced the closure on its Facebook page this morning.
The message posted on Whipt Cream's Facebook page suggests this might not be the end for the brand, however:
Dear Facebook Fans & Whipt Cream customers,
Thank you for allowing us to serve you with tasty, personalized treats over these last four years. It has been a pleasure to be part of each of your celebrations as we have grown to know you as family and friends.
At this time, we would like to inform you that Whipt Cream has recently been bought out of its current location. We have sold all of our equipment and left the space effective 1/23/13. Whipt Cream's ownership has decided not to re-open in a new location.
However, we will consider offers for new ownership with purchasing the Registered Trademarked name, website and business assets by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will keep the Facebook page active for an undetermined amount of time while considering options.
Thank you again for your support,
