The Indian and Pakistani restaurant Spice-n-Grill (6800 Olive Boulevard, University City; 314-721-2421) has closed for renovations, according to signs posted on its front door and windows. Newspapers cover the front door, while wood of some sort covers much of the windows.

The signs state that the restaurant will reopen on Tuesday, December 4. Calls to both of the phone numbers listed on the restaurant's Facebook page led to a full voicemail box.

Spice-n-Grill opened at the end of 2011, marking the return to University City of the husband-and-wife duo of Zahid and Shaheena Khan after the 2010 closure of their previous venture, Indian Food.
