Tidbits: Hiro Relocating, Free Range Cookies Closing

- Ligaya Figueras of Sauce reports that the sushi and izakaya restaurant Hiro (609 Eastgate Avenue; 314-721-9168) will relocate to an undisclosed address on Washington Avenue downtown due to Washington University's plans to build on its current Delmar Loop property.

The relocated restaurant will also have a new name: Hiro Pan-Asian Restaurant & Lounge. Look for the original Hiro to close sometime in November.

On the Free Range Cookies website, owner Linda Daniels writes, "I'll be indulging my sweet tooth by baking, blogging, and teaching classes at Kitchen Conservatory. Hope to see you virtually or actually around, friends."
