REMINDER: The Wing Ding is THIS EVENING. Support a great cause and then make a night of it by going to Riverfront Times' Artopia afterward!
Do you like wings? Do you like supporting worthy causes? Are you free next Thursday, August 23, from 6-9 p.m.? Then you should join Gut Check at UCP Heartland's annual Wing Ding at the Greensfelder Recreation Complex at Queeny Park in Ballwin.
A panel of local celebrity judges (plus yours truly!) will judge the wings from (at least) sixteen area restaurants to determine the "Best of the Best." Attendees will vote their favorite wings the "King of the Wings."
Tickets costs $25, which includes wing samples and two beverages (either beer or soda). You can also purchase VIP tickets for $50, which gives you wing samples, unlimited beverages and reserved seating. All proceeds from the event benefit UCP heartland's services for children and adults with disabilities.
