- Gut Check told you last month about the nose-to-tail dinner by chef de cuisine Andrew Jennrich at Farmhaus (3257 Ivanhoe Avenue; 314-647-3800). That dinner, featuring locally raised pork, is tomorrow night, August 21, and tickets are still available.

- Another reminder that Downtown Restaurant Week begins today. View the complete list of participating restaurants (with links to their menus) or check out our handy crib sheet of the five best Downtown Restaurant Week menus.

- Sauce reports that a restaurant called Fork and Stick, serving Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, will move into the east Delmar Loop space at 549 Rosedale Avenue recently vacated by the Ethiopian restaurant Selam.
