Your Pick for St. Louis' Most Overrated Burger Is...

Our poll to determine St. Louis' most overrated burger drew many more respondents than our poll for the area's most underrated burger. I'm not sure what that says about you, dear readers, but we thank you for your enthusiastic participation.

The finalists included two local institutions and one national chain:

Blueberry Hill (6504 Delmar Boulevard, University City; 314-727-4444) Five Guys Burgers and Fries (multiple locations) O'Connell's Pub (4652 Shaw Avenue; 314-773-6600)

As you can see from the pie chart above, the final tally saw a close margin between first and second place. Who wears the crown?

The Results:

1. Five Guys Burgers and Fries - 42.48% 2. Blueberry Hill - 39.34% 3. O'Connell's Pub - 18.18%

Congratulations (?), Five Guys.

To those of you who've complained -- fairly -- that we shouldn't have included a national chain in a poll to find St. Louis' most overrated burger: With the margin of victory a mere eighteen votes out of nearly 600 cast, feel free to ignore Five Guys and consider Blueberry Hill your champion.

Thanks again to everyone who nominated semifinalists and voted. Suggestions for the next underrated/overrated category are more than welcome in the comments.
