Friday (May 25):

A Fistful of Hollers @ Lemp Mansion Enjoy a multicourse meal over a murder mystery. $48.95 per person. Call 314-664-8024 for reservations. Every Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m.

Shakespeare Festival St. Louis @ Forest Park Pack a personalized picnic dinner and head out for the opening weekend of Othello under the stars in Forest Park. Free. Nightly except Tuesday through June 17. 8 p.m.

Saturday (May 26):

Pork Shop @ Schlafly Tap Room More than 50 local residents sell their spoils while Schlafly serves up beer, live music and a pig roast. Admission is free. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

STLVegGirl: Vegan Appetizer Class @ Whole Foods Market-Galleria Get a load of vegan goodies as instructor Caryn Dugan demonstrates dishes including spinach-artichoke dip, hummus guacamole and loaded nachos. $25 per person. Register online via the Whole Foods website. 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Fair U City @ Heman Park Plenty of family all weekend long including carnival rides, amusements, live music and snacks like pizza, empanadas, hot dogs, ice cream and more. Saturday, May 26 from 5 to 9 p.m., Sunday, May 27 from 1 to 9 p.m. or Monday, May 28 from 1 to 9 p.m.

Sunday (May 27):

Memorial Weekend BBQ @ Mount Pleasant Enjoy a buffet of braised beef short ribs, grilled corn on the cob, new potato salad, triple mac & cheese, cherry cobbler and much more. The cost is $18 for adults and $9 for kids twelve and under. Call 636-482-9463 for reservations. Noon to 3 p.m.

It's Okay to be Shellfish on the Grill @ Kitchen Conservatory Learn how to grill seafood grub including ancho-rubbed scallops with corn salad, Sicilian grilled shrimp with basil-olive sauce and grilled tomatoes, curry-basted lobster with pineapple and more during this hands-on class. $60 per person. 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Monday (May 28):

40th Annual Gypsy Caravan @ UM-St. Louis Pick up goods from more than 70 vendors including antiques, crafts, jewelry, clothing and more. Enjoy refreshments from the Triton dining and beer garden. Admission tickets range from $7.50 to $20, with proceeds to benefit the Saint Louis Symphony. 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Great Pizza Bicycle Ride @ Millstadt City Park Ride across quiet country roads across the Illinois prarie and cap off the scenic route with a visit to Breadeaux Pizza for all-you-can-eat pizza and drinks for an additional charge. $13 for each non-member to participate in the ride, $3 for children. 7:30 to 10 a.m.
