Saturday (Apr. 28): Herb Days @ Missouri Botanical Garden Load up on fresh herbs including new and hard-to-find varieties during this special sale along with demonstrations and guidance on selecting, planting, growing and using herbs. The St. Louis Herb Society also features its cookbook along with periodicals and curry powder. Access to the sale is included with Garden admission -- $8 for adults, free for children ages 12 and under, $4 for St. Louis City and County residents, and $3 for seniors 65 and over. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. French Flea Market @ The Map Room Enjoy a day of French food, wine, shopping and music featuring 30 booths from local businesses, artisans and private sellers. Free admission. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Third Annual Coffee Crawl @ Historic Downtown Maplewood Explore a day of coffee demonstrations and goodies, and sample regional roasters including Kaldi's, Killi Caffe, Riley's, Art House Coffee and Goshen. Food Blogger Bake Sale @ Sappington Farmers' Market More than 30 local food bloggers, bakers and the like combine efforts to sell cookies, cakes, bread and more to raise funds for for Share Our Strength, the nation's leading organization working to combat childhood hunger in America.
