Savory and Sweet Tasting @ Vom Fass Nibble on Kakao confections while sipping and sampling your way through wines, flavored olive oils, liquers, savory dips, cheeses and breads. $25 per person, with proceeds to benefit the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments. 6 to 8 p.m.
Scallops & Mussels Festival @ Broadway Oyster Bar Specials include bacon-wrapped scallops with a brie cream drizzle, scallops Provencal, mussels Thai curry and more, all to the soundtrack of live music from bands such as the Dogtown Allstars and New Orleans' Dash Dip Rock. Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 from 6 to 11 p.m.
Canvas, Cocktails and More @ South Broadway Art Project Bring your own drinks and snacks and get an arts and crafts crash course. This week's focus takes artists-to-be through a lesson in street cafes and coffee house paintings. $25 per person. 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

33rd Annual Hermann Wurstfest @ Hermannhof Festhalle This fest features the best dressed German specialties illustrating the town's rich 170-year history of German sausage making. Feast your eyes and appetite on a variety of bratwurst, leberwurst, schwartenmagen and sommer sausage, learn about how it's all done via live demonstrations, enjoy German music and dancing, and see which wiener dog wins at the dachshund derby. Bittersweet Porter Fest @ Crown Valley Brewery Taste locally brewed porter craft beers from Six Row Brewing Company, Ferguson Brewing Company and Crown Valley Brewing & Distilling Company along with chocolate desserts. $25 admission per person. 12 to 6 p.m.
Two Year Anniversary Bash @ The Vino Gallery Celebrate two years of The Vino Gallery with a wine tasting, appetizers, door prizes and special pricing on by the glass wines. Free admission. 5 p.m.
