Saturday (Dec. 31): New Year's Eve Party @ Wildey Theatre Ring in the new year in Edwardsville, IL with wine and beer from Encore Wine Bar, a heavy hors d'oeuvres buffet, and on-stage dancing to the sounds of the Original Knights of Swing Jazz Orchestra. A sliders buffet gets served after midnight. Tickets are $75 and can be ordered by calling 618-307-1750. 8 p.m.

Flyin' Mayan New Year's Eve @ The Atomic Cowboy Atomic's celebration includes DJs and live entertainment, a midnight champagne toast countdown with a confetti cannon, a photo booth and party favors, a Mayan-themed drink and Yucatan gourmet appetizer specials, and a free breakfast buffet at 1 a.m. Admission is free. 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.

The Beggar's New Year's Eve Ball @ Casa Loma Ballroom Enjoy a wild show featuring a gypsy carnival, one-ring circus, vaudeville and much more. Toast with champagne at midnight and partake in a midnight breakfast buffet with plenty of drink specials from the open bar. Tickets cost $59 per person and include all of the above. 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.

NYE Prohibition Speakeasy @ The Royale The Royale offers limited seating for just 50 dinner guests including a complimentary serving of punch upon arrival, a five course meal and a champagne toast at midnight. The menu includes winter squash and apple soup, roasted root vegetable stuffed pork loin with braised carret risotto and more. Dinner tickets are $50. E-mail for reservations. General admission tickets for $15 are available at 10 p.m. Dinner seatings between 7 to 9 p.m.

A Speakeasy New Year's Eve @ Mad Art Gallery Mad Art transforms into a 1920s speakeasy featuring a full open bar, burlesque show, heavy hors d'oeuvres, DJ and champagne toast at midnight. Tickets cost $75 per person and can be ordered online. 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

New Year's Eve menu @ Overlook Farm Avoid the hustle and bustle of the city by venturing out for dinner at Overlook Farm in Clarksville, MO, ringing in the new year with a special menu including pan roasted pheasant ($32), veggie paella ($20), charcuterie for two and more. Sunday (Jan. 1):

St. Louis Beacon Presents The Mikado @ Sheldon Concert Hall This third annual winter gala features Gilbert's and Sullivan's classic The Mikado along with champagne and hor d'oeuvres before the show. Ticket cost is $60-75. Purchase them at the Sheldon or online. Reception begins at 5:30 p.m.
