  • Maplewood's the Red Lion was among July's closures.
July was yet another busy month for restaurant openings and closings in St. Louis. Notable debuts include the first area location of the "better burger" chain Smashburger and Three Sixty, the rooftop restaurant and bar atop the Hilton at the Ballpark.

Closings included Maplewood eatery the Red Lion and Arnold breastaurant the Tilted Kilt.

Though Gut Check tries to account for every opening and closing in town, a few inevitably slip past us. Please let us know in the comments what we missed.
