The St. Louis Business Journal released its annual "30 Under 30" list of local business up-and-comers. Five honorees are from the food sector, ranging from small-business entrepreneurs to rising bigwigs at huge local corporations.

Anthony Bommarito Jr. is poised to operate A. Bommarito Wines upon the retirement of his dad.

Adam Byrne has been moving through the management ranks at Anheuser-Busch InBev for four years, and was promoted to senior category manager in March.

Adrian Glass owns and manages the Post Sports Bar and Grill, where he's taken the traditional sports-bar model and turned it into a haven for fantasy-sports lovers.

Taran Hensley co-founded Mom's Originals Inc. with her mother, Jody. While Jody Hensley oversees the production of gourmet chocolate-dipped pretzels, Taran serves as the company's president.

Whitney Sparks-Vredenburgh works in public affairs at Monsanto Inc., and has an education in botany and marketing.

Update: Gerard Craft of Niche alerted us that we failed to include Michelle Kuehler of Black Twig Communications on our list. Kuehler is a partner at Black Twig, which handles public relations for a host of businesses (including Craft's restaurants).
