As death toll from the tornado that struck Joplin on May 22 reached 132 people Friday, one restaurant chain announced plans to help.
All five St. Louis Houlihan's are donating ten percent of food sales during Memorial Day weekend, which includes Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. There, is however, a catch: In order to donate, you must be part of the restaurant chain's online club and present a flyer sent out via email. Patrons who spend $50 will receive $10 off their bill, and another $10 will be donated to the American Red Cross.
Another restaurant that's part of the Houlihan's family, the Bristol Seafood Grills, which has locations in Creve Coeur and O'Fallon, will also be donating to relief efforts under the same plan.
If you know of any other local eateries (or a chain with a presence here) making donations to the relief effort, let us know in the comment section below.
