It might not have the scope of Dining Out for Life, but it's for no less worthy a cause: If you dine at one of two area restaurants on selected dates, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Life Skills, an organization dedicated to helping developmentally disabled individuals find work and homes of their own.

The details differ between the two participating restaurants:

- On Tuesday, May 3, only, the Delmar Loop, Kirkwood and Central West End locations of Pi will donate 30% of your bill to Life Skills.

- From now through May 13, the Twin Oaks location of Krieger's (1356 Big Bend Road; 636-861-1618)  will donate 10% of your bill to Life Skills. This is valid only at this location.

At both Pi and Krieger's, you must present a flyer for the donation to be made. You can find and print a copy of this flyer from the Life Skills website (link PDF).
