Riverfront Times Presents Iron Fork Thursday, April 7

For the fifth consecutive year, Riverfront Times will showcase food from multiple restaurants and host an Iron Chef-style battles between local chefs and bartenders. This year's Iron Fork will be held Thursday, April 7, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the St. Louis Union Station Marriott.

General admission tickets cost $35 each and are available at the Iron Fork website. In addition, two-for-one tickets are available for a limited time. Your ticket price includes food samples from 30 restaurants and three full-sized drinks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the St. Louis Area Foodbank.

The combatants in this year's chef battle are Bernard Foster of the Hyatt, Carl Hazel of Scottish Arms, John Johnson of River City Casino and Adam Salyer of St. Louis Union Station Marriott. In addition twelve area bartenders will compete (in three groups of four) in the 85 Lashes Rum Mixology competition.

(A bit of news about 85 Lashes Rum while we're on the subject: The beverage, produced by St. Louis' own Amalgamated Brewing and Distilling Company has a new distributor, Glazer's, and will soon be available across Missouri.)

A list of all 30 participating restaurants is available after the jump.
