This week was full of food-news -- from hoodlums smuggling marijuana amongst a tomato shipment to management changes at a favorite local eatery to good 'ol restaurant and dish reviews -- Gut Check's been busy.

What else did we do this week?

It was announced that three local chefs have been nominated for a James Beard Award.

Ian taught us how to mind our manners when it comes to negative Yelp! reviews.

Kristen explored the happy hour specials at Roxane's in Clayton.

Ruma's Deli in Mehlville reopened after a lengthy remodel.

That's it for this week. Have a great weekend. Eat something good.
