New Technology Cafe Opening Downtown

If you're the kind of diner who likes a side of computer repair with your sandwich, we've got a new business for you.

A new cafe/tech business opens downtown tomorrow.
  • A new cafe/tech business opens downtown tomorrow.
The Whiz-Tech Technology Cafe, opening tomorrow in the Printers Lofts building, 1629 Locust, features both business help (website design, copy editing, IT consulting) and food, all under one 6,000-square-foot roof.

For more about the venture, check out this post on Daily RFT.

But please note that Whiz-Tech's director of public relations, Deverick Miller, promises that foodies will be just as delighted with the concept astechnophobes in desperate need of IT help.

He promises table service and a "great chef" -- Andrew McLendon, who was previously at the cafe in the Missouri Botanical Garden.

"He's worked hard on the menu," Miller says.

A press release for tomorrow's opening promises seating for 126, with menu options including pizza, wraps, nachos, smoothies, fresh fruit and salads, paninis, soups, pastries, milk shakes and Italian ices.

Especially important for this frigid weather, there's also a fireplace to warm yourself before partaking. Score!
