Another week, another wave goodbye for some area eating establishments. Ian reported on the closing of Wang Gang Asian Eats in St. Charles, and he also shared George Mahe's news that Il Vicino has shut its doors for good after its September fire.

What else did we do this week?

Looked at a lawsuit against the Whole Foods Market in Brentwood alleging wrongful termination of a whistle blower.

Ian added Franco's cassoulet to his list of STL favorites.

Marked our calendars for this weekend's 2nd Shift Brewery Launch at 33 Wine Shop.

Solicited suggestions for Gut Check's blogroll.

Watched Stephen Colbert's reaction to the live crab vending machine.

That's it for this week. Have a great weekend. Eat something good.
