Mark Bittman was in St. Louis last Thursday, October 8, to promote his new book, The Food Matters Cookbook: 500 Recipes for Conscious Eating. He reflects on his visit here (and other cities) on a post on his personal blog. He seems to have had a blast during his brief time, with shoutouts to Charlie Brennan of KMOX, who interviewed him on stage and Steven Caravelli of Araka, where he ate a late dinner.

He also posted photographs he took of readers who wanted to take his photograph. Where you there? Did he take your picture? You might be on the Internet right now.

Bittman mentions that the on-stage interview will be broadcast online at some point. We'll provide you a link when it is.
