A reliable source tells Gut Check that the Downtown St. Louis Partnership will soon announce the debut of a farmers' market.

Per our previous report, the market will be held Thursday afternoons from 4 - 7 p.m. between May and October. Farmers will set up stands on the Old Post Office Plaza

Patrick Horine, organizer of the Tower Grove Farmers' Market and a co-owner of Local Harvest Grocery, will operate the new market -- but the downtown booster group is scouting for businesses to sponsor some of the overhead, including costs for musicians and entertainment.
