What to Get Your Not-So-Novice Foodie This Holiday Season

Earlier this week on this very blog, the Novice Foodie presented some gift suggestions for the foodie on your list, all of which are reasonably priced and locally available.

If, however, you are feeling expansive, The Huffington Post presents its list of The Priciest Foods Ever and invites readers to vote for the one they'd most like to try. So far, the $30-a-kilo macadamia nuts seem to be winning, which seems astonishing since the list also features Japanese Wagyu beef which, when still alive, was raised on a beer diet and a regimen of daily massages. (Or maybe we just wish we were a Wagyu heifer.)
