St. Louis Craft Beer Week: Thursday's Events

The first annual St. Louis Craft Beer Week continues. There are several events today:

- The Royale (3132 South Kingshighway; Web site) is hosting "Craft/Beer," a celebration of craft beer and local makers of crafts, from 2-6 p.m.

- The Clayton location of the Wine & Cheese Place (7435 Forsyth Boulevard) is holding a class entitled "Beer Tasting for Wine Lovers" at 6 p.m. This event requires a reservation.

- Local beer historian Henry Herbst will present a lecture on the history of craft beer at Schlafly Bottleworks (7260 Southwest Avenue; Web site) at 6:30 p.m.

- The Missouri Botanical Garden (4344 Shaw Boulevard) is hosting a tasting of O'Fallon beers from 5-9 p.m.
