Happy Halloween -- and a Preemptive Apology




I wish you more treats than tricks this Halloween. Above you see my favorite Halloween candy, which I guess doesn't really get handed out much these days. Safety concerns, and all that.

I must tell you that next week and, especially, the week after will be rather quiet around these parts as I prepare for and then take a week's vacation. Here's hoping no iconic St. Louis restaurants close down in that time.
