Shoppers at the Kirkwood Farmers' Market will have a new spot to grab a bite to eat: Babalu's Snack Shack will be open Thursday evenings and Friday through Sunday, beginning Saturday, April 26. The Babalu name might tip you off that local chef Dana Holland (the original Babalu in the Central West End as well as consultant work at KoKo, Alandale Brewing Company and others) is involved, along with John Kekeris (Pepper Lounge, Nectar).
Babalu Snack Shack will feature "street food," says the press release I have: burritos, tamales and gorditas; barbecue will be available on Saturdays.
